Canadian Armed Forces, Community Service
In 2012, I joined the Canadian Armed Forces as a Combat Engineer.. I’ve spent the last few years as a Section Commander, and as an instructor on courses including Basic Military Qualification, Combat Engineer trade training, and the Primary Leadership Qualification. It has been very rewarding to see a diverse group of Canadians develop the skills they will need to make the world a safer place.
I have been a team leader on 2 domestic operations, both named OP LENTUS. The first was in response to severe flooding in NB, and the second was to help in Yarmouth, NS after hurricane Dorian.
After receiving a commission in 2020, I am currently working as a Training Officer with 36 Service Battalion as a reservist. Full time, I am a Supply Chain Supervisor in the Canadian Coast Guard. I hold a Bachelor of Management, Major in Leadership and Organizations.
I hope to be deployed to Africa or the Middle East to help those affected by conflict.
