I was born in Cassiar,B.C May 14th 1961. Most of my life has been spent in Alberta. I joined the military in June 1980 and was posted to 1 PPCLI Calgary Alberta. In 1984 I was deployed to Nicosia, Cyprus on a six month tour and recieved my United Nations medal.I  returned to Calgary and was posted there until 1987. From there I was posted to C.F.B. Kingston, Ontario with the Signals Regiment attached to Defense & Security until my release in 1988. I then moved back to Alberta. I did various jobs until truck driving became my next career in 1995, which has lasted until present day. The topic I would like to discuss would be our homeless veterans and how to help them, and why the government has abandoned them after serving their country.

The Memory Project includes a community of over 1,500 veterans and Canadian Forces members who are committed to sharing their stories of service.
