Paul Hughes is a Father, Activist, Coach, Artist, Veteran, Journalist. Served with PPCLI in Germany during the Cold War. UNHRD Article 25 Right to Food & Food Access Advocate. 1111 Art Exhibition Curator & Founder, Calgary's largest independent art exhibition. Calgary Hockey Coach of the Year. Artistic Director, Highwood Music Festival. Member of Food Dignity Constellation of Calgary Poverty Reduction Initiative. Set up 1st Occupy tent in Canada at St Patrick's Island. Mayoral Candidate. Founder, Canadian Liberated Urban Chicken Klub (CLUCK), the largest right to food organization in Canada. Paul founded Grow Calgary and is President, Executive Director & Senior Farm Manager of Grow Calgary, largest community farm in Canada. Paul's son, Mac, is 15.
