I joined the military at age 22, eager to make a difference in the world. I deployed in Afghanistan during Canada's NATO-led OP ATHENA Roto 6 from September 2008 to April 2009. I spent just over 6 months in that country. I have been lucky enough to have had varied experiences during my tour and learned quite a few lessons about life, men and warfare. As I soldier on in my career, I have been awarded so far the Canadian Decoration (CD) and the General Campaign Star (GCS-Afg). I have also served on Domestic Operations as aid to civil power during the G8 & G20 summits in Ontario. I am married and father of 2 daughters (3 yrs old & 12 yrs old). I am happy to consider any enquiries coming my way.

The Memory Project includes a community of over 1,500 veterans and Canadian Forces members who are committed to sharing their stories of service.
