Initially, he was employed as a CC130H Hercules maintenance officer both in the field and at an operational headquarters. He deployed on Operation BOXTOP to resupply Canadian Forces Station ALERT in 2008 and on Operation ATHENA in the Middle East and Afghanistan in 2009 to support inter-theatre and intra-theatre airlift for the International Security Assistance Force and Canada's Joint Task Force Afghanistan. Adam is also a qualified flight test engineer. He was posted for six years to the Aerospace Engineering Test Establishment in Cold Lake, Alberta. He has tested on over 25 different aircraft types. In particular, the CC130J Super Hercules, the CP140 Aurora, and the CH148 Cyclone. He has also coordinated multi-fleet trials and evaluation operations, supported testing on the CF188 Hornet for Operation IMPACT, and had the privilege of serving as the Senior Test Engineer. Adam is currently attending the Canadian Forces College Joint Command and Staff Programme 45. Adam holds a Bachelor of Mathematics Applied Mathematics, a Master of Science in Flight Test and Evaluation, and is a Project Management Professional.
