I joined the militia at 16 years of age and retired from the Canadian Armed Force Reserves 43 years later as a Chief Warrant Officer. I started in the infantry then re-mustered to Health Services. I served as the Regimental Sergeant Major of 12 Field Ambulance, as a Civilian Military Liaison Officer for the 1 PPCLI Battlegroup in Bosnia and as a Joint Task Force Pacific Liaison Officer to Emergency Management BC. I have served in Germany and Bosnia and I have been activated for numerous wildfires, floods and other domestic issues.

The Memory Project includes a community of over 1,500 veterans and Canadian Forces members who are committed to sharing their stories of service.
