Speaking Topics:

Army; Conflict in Afghanistan; Peacekeeping

I served for 38 years in the Army Reserve and retired as a Brigadier-General and the senior reservist in the Army training system. I served overseas twice: The first tour was in 2006 when I was the Task Force Commander for the Canadian mission supporting the African Union peacekeeping mission in Darfur, Sudan. In 2010 I spent a year in Afghanistan as a senior mentor for Afghan security forces in Southern Afghanistan. I also run a battlefield tour business and have been taking Canadians to battlefields in Europe since 1999. I could speak about the history of Canada's participation in those conflicts as well as the contribution made by Canada in Sudan and Afghanistan.

The Memory Project includes a community of over 1,500 veterans and Canadian Forces members who are committed to sharing their stories of service.
