CWO Saunders is still serving (33+years). He has been on three overseas deployments, Bosnia and twice to Afghanistan. He is affiliated with the RCEME Corps, has spoken on several occasions in the past as part of the Veterans Speaking Week at school Remembrance Day services,and is currently a volunteer interpreter at the Canadian War Museum. He can discuss most aspects of service life, the Cold War, Peace Keeping (Bosnia) and Peace Making/Low to High intensity conflict (Afghanistan).
