Captain (Ret) Stephen Thompson

Captain (ret'd) Thompson served as an officer in the Royal Regiment of Canadian Artillery from 1982 until his retirement in 2009. During that time, he served in mechanized and airborne units, and was a staff officer in three UN Missions in the Former Yugoslavia. Captain (ret'd) Thompson was seconded to the Pearson Peacekeeping Centre, where among other things, he was a tireless advocate for alleviating the plight of war affected children. Captain (ret'd) Thompson also has wide expertise in First World War history.
