I am the son of a veteran who never had the opportunity to know his father. My mother always said the man she loved looked the same when he came home in 1946 as he did when he left in 1943. However, everything she loved inside him was gone. I wanted to know why and after researching I found out what changed him. I then turned my attention to our fallen from World Wars I & II and have published one book about the 204 men from Huron County who paid the supreme sacrifice during World War II. In the summer I will be publishing my second book about the 516 men and women from Huron County who paid the supreme sacrifice in World War I. I have been in France and Belgium doing research in 2014 / 2015 and in the Netherlands in 2015 and participated in the 70th anniversary of the Netherlands being liberated by our Canadians. I have 100s of photos and video to compliment my presentation.

The Memory Project includes a community of over 1,500 veterans and Canadian Forces members who are committed to sharing their stories of service.
